Snipe Racing

|

Alex loves sailing and when we asked Holden about racing as father and son, he said, the definitive Seattle experience is Snipe racing on Lake Washington. What the heck is a Snipe? It's a 15 foot long sail boat. You can check out the Seattle chapter called Snipe Fleet 444 and they cost between $1800-$4000 and you have to oin the Corinthian Yacht Club after the first year of trying it. The races are $85 for a series of four races and then you join the CYC. Cost for that is very nominal. 30/year for a junior and $555/year for adults.
