Commercial guys are charging $50-100 to unlock an iphone, but now hackers have a free unlock that is complicated, but let's you use your iPhone with any carrier. Here is the way that you can do it.
It is a huge thread, but there is a site called iunlock.com which claims to be the easiest. Do I dare risk it? Engadget reports there is a front end for this.
