iPodlounge | All Things iPod | NuPower Battery. iPods are so expensive I’ve been thinking about getting a 2G from eBay. The problem is that battery life is a big issue and Apple charges $99 to get a new battery.
A great solution is a third party batter the NuPower Super High Capacity by Newer Technology. It is a do-it-yourself take the iPod apart and put a big battery in. Costs just $40. Particularly for the 2G this is a good idea.
So I may be getting quite a few old iPods and putting new batteries in.
