I’m going through the whole Web 2.0 list, so here is a quick list. Man, the list of new stuff is just daunting. The first one I’ll do is picture and video search:

* “Google Image”:http://images.google.com. They say they are still getting the most hits
* Roo TV – On-Demand Video Portal. An on demand portal kind of cool.
* “Youtube”:http://youtube.com. This is the largest site that has user content. Mainly funny videos and the like.

RSS feeds are one way to get the latest and most up-to-date photos, here from a google:”rss photo feed” is the most popular:

* “Flickr”:http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/. Now a Yahoo property, perhaps the neatest thing is its use of RSS, so for instance the most interesting, view things are available on RSS.
* “Yahoo”:http://news.yahoo.com/rss. The latest Yahoo feed includes photo thumbnails in it now, so your newsreader can see a nicer image. Also nice to reuse.
* “Webshots”:http://www.webshots.com/html/rss_learn_more.html. This is another personal site with lots of photos
* “Rolling Stones”:http://www.rollingstone.com/rssxml/photos.xml. Here is the Rolling Stone photo feed.

One of the cool things are things that are providing feeds of photos that you can look at.
