May 8, 2007 – Apple placed an initial order for 15.4-inch LED backlight displays with Asian manufacturers last month, targeting a June announcement that would make availability of a new laptop on or within days of Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ Worldwide Developers Conference keynote on June 11, sources tell Think Secret.
