Financial Analysis and great websites

Well with all the market turmoil, it’s more than important to do the right financial analysis. If you don’t want to pay a lot for it, what are some of the great resources:

  1. MarketWatch. I’ve found that they have some great information particularly the quarterly financial data and pretty free.
  2. YCharts. The main benefit is that they have really great charts that are super useful. They have a nice trial program, so if you are going to use them, then use it in doing great charts. For instance I just did a set doing comparable stock prices for the last ten years and their charts were great. What is great is being to do comparables across an entire portfolio or industry sector.
  3. Koyfin. Most folks say that it is a Bloomberg terminal but it is free (for now). It really does have a nice display that shows what is happening on the market right now. A good way to feel like a great stock trader.
