Well, with Matrix Resurrection out, I’m just shocked at how good it looks in HDR. A great reason to get a new television with these HDR focused films like No Time to Die or Dune coming out now.
But it reminded me that I loved the Matrix screensavers when they were out for the PC. Trying to find them for the Mac is a little adventure, but a very kind researcher has compiled this for the latest Mac and it actually works on the M1 MacBook Pro which is pretty incredible. It’s just a DMG that you download from Github. You have to say it is ok to run since it is an opaque screensaver, but it does seem to work. Give it a try.
Download it and then right click on it and it installs as a screen saver.
