    Tape Resources – Frequently Asked Questions. At last a pretty good source for what is a good miniDV tape. The answer seems to be the Panasonic Master MQ which is 1db better than PQ. Then there is Sony EX which is 2db better than their PR. Seems like using professional tapes is the ticket.
