Fixed DMA on Hard Drive
Thank goodness for the Internet! I finally deleted the checksum entries per the note about doing this in the registry. It reidentified the hard disk. I guess I was getting CRC errors before. Anyway, now I’m Ultra DMA Mode 4 on the main hard drive and Mode 2 on my CDRW and Mode 5 on my two ATA/100’s. Now if only I could figure out why my Promise mirroring is causing all kinds of disk errors!
