Santa Cruz BlurBeen lusting for a mountain bike. This is the current one I've been eyeing. Also studying the Specialized Epic and maybe the new Klein Quantum based on the Turner Monolink.

I’m not saying that all the innovations of the 1980’s and 1990’s have been bad: by no means. The problem is not that: it is rather that much of the new technology was driven by the market – the defense industry looking for new customers, the bike industry trying to expand – instead of real need, and it often if not always ended up by pushing out of production durable, proven and superior designs.
Example: Full suspension cross-country bikes.

I just picked up my Blur about 2 weeks ago. I think it’s an awesome bike! I tried a Gary Fischer Sugar, a Klein Palomino, and a Specialized Epic Comp before settling on the Blur. I’d only had hardtails up till this point, but all I can say now is WOW, what a ride!

You are making me jealous. I just rode a Gary Fisher Sugar and it is sure nice and I’ve also been on the older Specialized, but no the new Epic.
I also hear the new Intense is wonderful too.

And with advances like 4-bit quantization, there is the possibility they can even run on modern smartphones.The experience in China and in India is that parents will save inordinately to give their children a better life than theirs. Both Devindra and I are the beneficiaries of that thinking and we are forever grateful to our parents for their sacrifice. So, this means that there is a possibility that there could be a commercial incentive which is much better than constantly asking for charitable dollars.The new LLMs promise interactivity and individualized instruction that was impossible before. Early demonstrations of learning a foreign language are promising as is the student being able to ask the ”why” of how Python is structured, not just the ”get it done” without understanding that online education often creates.Finally, having an eye toward inclusivity for everyone of any gender, race or social status is something that needs to be baked in. We look forward to helping!
