Will someone become the Wifi Test Center?
Hey I’m begging someone to be the wifi test results center. I’m amazed at how few standard test results there are. In contrast to the many sites doing PC testing. I’ve only found one C|net test ever done that does range testing. And, the folks at wifi-planet.com do a great job, but it isn’t indexed in any meaningful way.
If some one die (are you reading this Tim? Mark? Steve?), then I’m sure they’d become the number one site for home networking and wifi networking in general. Anyway, here’s my list, I’ll keep up to date of wireless range testing I’ve seen.
BTW, if I were to do this, I would have two sets of tests, one is raw performance, the other is with a standard 11b client attached to see how compatibility works. These results were culled from individual reports on wi-fiplanet.com
