_I’m going through all the editing programs trying to find one that is easy and powerful_
I’m going to surprise myself and say that while I like Sonic Foundry quite a lot, I’m surprised by how good the Microsoft Movie Maker actually is. Its based on an old version of Roxio, but it is surprisingly easy and powerful not to mention free in Windows XP. Best things are the scene detection and then the various title formats. Try the newspaper format as an example.
PCWorld.com – Adobe’s New Moviemaking Powerhouse. Everyone seems to love Premiere, but in trying it, I have to agree with folks who say that, like most Adobe products, it is powerful, but hard to learn. Not bovious where to start.
