Email to SMS Text

Well, these addresses keep changing, but “wikipedia”:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMS_gateways has a pretty good list of SMS gateways. The main ones connected directly so for the big US carriers they are:

| Carrier | SMS Address | MMS Address |
| AT&T | _number_@txt.att.net | _number_@mms.att.net |
| T-Mobile | _number_@tmomail.net | |
| Verizon | _number_@vtext.com | _number_@vzwpix.com |

There are then a bunch of a carrier independent gateways that work and are fun to try

| Site | SMS Address |
| “CardBoardFish”:http://carboardfish.com | _number_@username.etexting.com
| “Letxt”:http://lextxt.com.au | _number_@sms.letxt.com.au |
| “Quios”:http://quios.com | |

Finally, some folks allow you to send an SMS and turn it into email, T-mobile is the only one in the US, you text to short code 500 and the format is _emailaddress_ / _subject_ / _text_
