Well it’s time of year, so time to check that everything is safe and ready for the winter. Here are some things that may need upgrading:

1. Water hoses. The cheap plastic ones are hard to manage and they get brittle. Bring them in for the winter. Alternatively, get the Wirecutter recommended Flexzilla which is 50 feet and completely flexible although the Hospaip seems even more highly rated and is small and flexible too. The nice thing is that it has valve to turn it off at the hose level.
2. Water faucet. Gilmour Full Size Zinc Pistol Grip. This is old style but also reliable according to Amazon.
