There’s a lot written now about how watch 26 and 26.1 cause incredible battery drain. This has happened to me on both my Series 7 and Ultra version 1.
At one point, the ultra lasted just 4 hours. They both have 85% battery performance left, and I tried all the usual steps like stopping background app refresh. Nothing worked.
The advice to just How to unpair and reset your Apple Watch | Apple Support – YouTube finally worked. The Ultra is back to two days of charge. Still not the greatest compared with a Garmin (which I really need for extended hikes or a Fitbit), but it works.
I’m also trying the Fitbit for Sleep tracking as it has How do I track blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) with my Fitbit device? and other sensing. Will report back.
You do need a third-party app to sync the FitBit Sleep tracking to Apple health.
I use Rungap for this for daily walks and so forth.
But it looks like you need a special app to get Sleep tracking over there
